How to use the board

Moving jobs

• Single job — drag the card onto any column, or open the ⋯ menu and pick Move to…
• Bulk move to a laser — click ☑ Bulk move (top-left of the toolbar). Tap jobs to select them (blue tick appears). Pick a laser from the bar that drops from the top. Click ✖ Cancel or press Esc to exit. Bulk move only works for laser columns (L1, L2, L3).

Viewing the board

• Compact mode — click ⊞ Compact in the toolbar to shrink cards and hide product lines. Tap any card to expand it and see the full detail. Tap again to collapse.
• Filter by product code — go to Summary, click any product code in the table. The board switches back and highlights only jobs containing that product. A yellow banner shows the active filter — click ✕ clear to remove it.
• Column stats — each laser column shows average wait days and the oldest job below the header. Green = ≤7 days, orange = 8–14 days, red = 15 days+.

Managing jobs

• Add a comment — click + add comment on a card, type, press Enter. Comments show in bold red.
• Flag a problem — tap Attention needed on a laser job. The card turns red and shows a flag.
• Stock arrived — in Awaiting stock, tick Stock in. The job moves to Unassigned automatically.
• Job finished — tap the circle ◯ next to the order number to complete and remove it from the board.

Summary & export

• Summary view — click the Summary tab to see outstanding orders by product code with charts. Click any code to filter the board.
• Export to CSV — in Summary view, click ⇩ Export CSV. Downloads all outstanding orders as a spreadsheet ready for Excel.

Colours & order

• Card colours — green border = ≤7 days, orange = 8–14 days, red = 15+ days late.
• Order within a column — oldest date first by default. Drag cards up or down to set a custom order.
• Routing rules — new uploads are routed automatically. Edit with the Routing button. Existing jobs are never moved by a re-upload.

Team Chat 💬

• Opening chat — click 💬 Chat in the toolbar or the yellow floating button at the bottom-right. On first use, pick your name — stored on your device, one-time only.
• Sending a message — type in the box and press Enter (or click Send). Messages appear instantly for everyone with the board open.
• Unread badge — a red number appears on the chat button when new messages arrive while the panel is closed. Clears as soon as you open chat.
• Chat ⚠ Urgent matters only, please. Chat is for production alerts — blocked jobs, missing stock, urgent orders. For general queries use email or a call, so notifications stay meaningful and the board stays focused.

Skip these product codes

Lines matching any of these are left off the board. Matching is "starts with", so POST catches POST01 and POST04.

Upload complete

Existing jobs kept their place. Only new order numbers were added to Unassigned.
